Historic Renovation
Southwest Urban | Development | General Contracting | Residential Brokerage
Our latest historic design renovation project is located in the vibrant neighborhood of Dunbar Spring and was acquired from the estate of a long-time owner. The home has a spacious feel with 9′ ceilings, a flowing floor plan, with vintage woodwork, hardware, and a fireplace. Although the home was in need of many repairs, the character and charm were preserved during the renovation. Infrastructure improvements include new roof, HVAC system, duct work, low-e windows/doors, gas plumbing, water connections, and metal fence/gates.
Our vision was to create an urban cottage connected to an inviting private outdoor living space, with gated off-street parking. A clean crisp historic color palette lends a neat and pressed feeling, that mixes with indigenous elements like fired-adobe pavers and rusted metal fencing for an earthy urban warmth. The result is a high-style, livable, affordable, and low-maintenance property.
